Privacy Policy
AIRPOS provides restaurant and retail operations software, including optional Facebook Social Commerce features used by stores that choose to connect a Facebook Page.
Facebook data we may process
When a store connects Facebook, AIRPOS may process the Facebook Page ID and Page name, permission and capability state, Page-scoped user identifiers needed to maintain a conversation, Messenger messages and supported attachments, Page comments and supported engagement context, timestamps, delivery/status metadata, and links created by the store between a social conversation and AIRPOS customer, order, or booking records.
Why we process it
We use this data to provide the connected store with Social Inbox, customer support, order and booking assistance, comment handling, and marketing or automation features that the store explicitly enables.
Tenant isolation and security
Facebook data is tenant-scoped. A store can access only data associated with its authorized AIRPOS tenant. Facebook access tokens and application credentials are protected server-side, encrypted or stored in managed secret storage, and are not exposed to browser clients.
Retention
We retain Facebook-derived operational data only as needed for the connected store's legitimate operational needs, audit requirements, and applicable law. Retention may differ from core accounting or completed-order records that the store must keep independently of Facebook.
Deletion
Tenant owners can disconnect Facebook without deleting ordinary business history, or request permanent deletion of Facebook-derived data using the AIRPOS Admin flow described on our Data Deletion page. Where a completed business record must remain, Facebook-only identifiers or links are removed or anonymized rather than deleting the core record.
Sharing and sale
AIRPOS does not sell Facebook conversation data. We use service providers only as needed to operate AIRPOS and protect the service, subject to appropriate safeguards.
